Saturday Drop In (Fusing Stained Glass & Mosaics) - Ongoing from March 12th 2026 10.00 - 4.00pm

During these drop in sessions beginner Students will be able to explore the basic principles of glass fusing and slumping.  Stained glass and mosaics.

Several short projects will be undertaken. Novice students will be able to cover the basic principles of glass fusing,  stained glass and mosaics including producing samples exploring positive relief, negative relief, the use of inclusions in glass, full fusing and the use of stringers and frits.

Additionally students can undertake a project of their own choosing including the use of slump moulds. You will be fully inducted with the health and safety aspects of using the tools and materials.

Students will need to provide their own glass and mosaic consumables and basic hand tools. The first lesson will outline exactly what you need to purchase and where from. Please bring am A3 size 3mm sheet of glass to learn how to cut glass.

These sessions are on a drop in basis, 2nd and 4 th Saturday of March, April, May, July September, October, November 2026 booking is recommended. There is on site parking.
